EXPERIENCE
Now
Coach. Speaker. Entrepreneur
This is the chapter where I choose who and what I stand behind. I bring belief, strategy, and real skin in the game to individuals and companies whose mission I respect—and whose momentum I’m ready to help multiply. I don’t just guide—I commit. If we work together, it’s because I see something worth fighting for.

Sabbatical
I stepped away to reset mind and body. Quiet miles, blank pages, and time in Europe showed me what inspires me and confirmed I will invest my energy only in the work I love.
Ongoing
Entrepreneurial Experiments
I design and pressure test new ventures. Ideas that show real traction get deeper focus; the rest become lessons for the next round. Portfolio mindset over single-basket bets.
Ongoing
Personal Health & Performance R&D
Relentless student of mind, body, and spirit. I follow trusted mentors, run self-experiments, and keep what works—constantly learning to lift energy, sharpen thinking, and unlock deeper well-being.

Consultant Advisor, Project Manager – Health Canada - Real Property Division – (via Tiree Facility Solutions Inc.)
At the height of COVID I led Ontario’s move from jam-packed ports of entry to overflow screening sites. After scouting best workable lot, I secured low-cost leases and had locations approved for use even before the contracts were signed off. The rollout in my region finished fastest and cleanest because leadership had trust, skipped micro management, and partners worked collaboratively. When the rush calmed, I rebuilt the Emergency Evacuation division with a bilingual portal that drew praise and helped other divisions kickstart their own modernization. I led work from governance reframing to designing and building the same modernization initiative for the entire Directorate, but a constant turnover in leadership slowed decisions, a fresh reminder that progress stalls when the decision makers keep changing.

Consultant Advisor, Project Manager – Public Services and Procurement Canada – (via Tiree Facility Solutions Inc.)
Brought in to fuse NCC and PSPC bridge-project teams into one program-management office. I shipped the vision, framework, benefit maps, live trackers, and a governance playbook, all ready for launch. Culture answered “not today”; a peek behind the government curtain reminded me bureaucracy is the world’s slowest sport. Micro-management, low trust, and stalled decisions kept the engine idling. Lesson learned: culture first—because real leaders clear roadblocks, they don’t hunt for misplaced commas.

Founder · Coach · Consultant – Avolv
Launched a lean advisory practice for founders who needed clarity, structure, and momentum. From solar startups to one-person shops, I turned loose ideas into workable playbooks. Along the way I learned that not every entrepreneur is ready to open the hood and rethink how they work—so the practice became a filter, too. The clients who engaged saw tighter pipelines, steadier teams, and real lift; the rest confirmed that fit matters as much as advice.

Co-Founder – BiryaniDads
Weekend pop-up built with my oldest friend: his family biryani recipe, my zero-waste oven-to-table packaging, a brand spun up for fun. We sold to friends, neighbours, and a few brave strangers—enough to win Chauldron Kitchen’s local competition and earn a nod from an Ottawa chef. Then we closed the lids, looked at our young families, and chose sleep over scaling a food venture. Lesson logged: great ideas matter, but timing matters more.

Consulting · Architectural Drafting – Self Employed
Daytime lectures, nighttime redlines. While studying architecture I moonlighted turning napkin sketches into permit ready sets for a solar outfit, a structural engineering firm, and a home builder. It was part translator, part problem solver—taking rough vision into buildable details one line at a time.

Architectural Technologist · Project Manager – COLE+Associates Architects
Tackled projects ranging from a $5M secure site fit-up that demanded discretion to a 12-storey tower recladding that required precision. I transformed fragmented specs into seamless documents, slashed RFIs, and rolled out live document platforms so everyone stayed on the same page. Along the way, officials praised our clarity, one project earned the fewest RFIs ever recorded, and I knew that integrated drawings could save months of headaches—one detail at a time.

Strategic Partner · General Manager · Sales and Operations – Ottawa Solar Power Inc.
Joined in the early days on founder wages and took on owner-level responsibility. Built the sales engine that won residential, commercial, and institutional work, overhauled operations so projects ran smoothly and profitably, and put systems in place that carried the company through its breakout decade. Led teams and shaped a service-first culture, keeping every move anchored to company success and lasting quality for our clients. Watching panels go up, kilowatts flow, and customers save money remains the most energizing chapter of my career.

Independent Renovation & Landscaping Services
Renovated cottages and refreshed outdoor spaces into warm, functional havens. With tools in hand, I honed my passion for architecture—seeing firsthand how materials, craftsmanship, and client collaboration shape both big-picture flow and fine-tuned details.

Millwright – Chromas Technologies (Longueuil QC)
Assembled manufacturing plant printing lines for labels and packaging. With drawing sets in one hand and coffee in the other, I coordinated with fellow assemblers to keep things moving fast and accurate, because these machines didn’t offer a second chance to get it right.

Machinist & Fabricator – Electrotech DH
Machined, welded, and built custom rigs side-by-side with the owner. Learned patience, accuracy, and how small tolerances move big systems. Learn the value workflows and processes to maximize speed of execution while still reaching high level of accuracy output.

Independent Services & Sales
Knocked on doors, mowed lawns, cut hedges, ran newspaper delivery routes, and managed stock at a convenience store, an early boot camp in client negotiations, persistence, and the power of professionalism.

Architectural Technologist
Caffeinated days and nights mastering the science of architecture led me to graduate with honors, and now I leverage deep knowledge of macro-scale systems and micro-scale materials to translate design vision into cohesive living solutions that are both beautiful, practical, and built to last.
Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology (2013–2016)
Mechanical Engineering
Survived a year of mind-bending mechanics, thermodynamics, and material science—lessons that taught me how to think of problems as puzzles and solutions as machines waiting to be built.
University of Ottawa (2004–2005)
Industrial Mechanic
Spent two years elbow-deep in grease, learning to coax precision out of unruly metal and noise—skills that laid the foundation for machniery design and troubleshooting.
Le Centre intégré de mécanique, de métallurgie et d’électricité (CIMME) (2000–2002)
Diploma, Machinist
Trained in precision machining, tooling setups, and shop safety—an early introduction to the importance of materials, tight tolerances, and craftsmanship in creating reliable, high-quality work.
